One Aussie Perspective: True Beauty
http://pinklozza.blogspot.com/2009/11/true-beauty.html
Friday, November 13, 2009. This was the last tulip growing in the garden. I thought to myself, how beautiful it was. Yes, it showed signs of age and had lost many of its petals, but it was still a beautiful flower growing in the garden. It was there to be enjoyed, and to be loved. One Aussie Perspective: November 2008
http://pinklozza.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 25, 2008. The Quokka is a tiny marsupial found only in a handful of places in South West, Western Australia. With a status of rare and vulnerable, this is a highly protected species. The Quokka is similar to a wallaby and very cute. I was lucky to get close to this one on Rottnest Island. Monday, November 24, 2008. This is Bracted Grevillea, another favourite of mine. This was blooming in Kings Park, Perth, Western Australia. How wonderful we can enjoy this beauty! One Aussie Perspective: Celebrating Life
http://pinklozza.blogspot.com/2009/11/blog-post.html
Wednesday, November 11, 2009. This is my latest video. it is a compilation of a few photos I have taken over the past couple of years. Someone said to me that people generally only celebrate life when the subject dies, but I think we have every reason to celebrate life every day of our lives. Celebrating because we are still alive and can enjoy all the natural beauty that surrounds us. There are so many bad things that happen in this world and I do not want to be dragged down by that. One Aussie Perspective: Carnival of Flowers
http://pinklozza.blogspot.com/2010/01/carnival-of-flowers.html
Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Every September, Toowoomba puts on its annual carnival of flowers. The whole town comes alive with flowers. It is a beautiful time of year. These are a few blooms that I captured at the time. Great photos. As a Queenslander Ive always wanted to make the trip down to see this event . but I havent made it yet! Will have to do it. I was impressed with the displays given the water restrictions Im assuming have been in place down there recently. 22 January, 2010 08:59.
