The Speers: October 2008
http://kodyandkristie.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Have you ever found yourself waiting for something in life? Maybe you've prayed about something earnestly, but for whatever reason, it just hasn't happened yet? Maybe it never will for some reason or maybe God just wants us to wait. I'm waiting on You, Lord. And I am hopeful. I'm waiting on You, Lord. Though it is painful. But patiently, I will wait. I will move ahead, bold and confident. Taking every step in obedience. I will serve You. I will not faint. Even while I wait.

See what happened was. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Po'okela's Early 1st Luau. Nana and Papa made their long journey from Hawaii to throw Po'okela his 1st Luau. We started the day out with preparing everything we would need to celebrate Po'okela's first year! I love this picture below because you can see him. Above: We have the food table, hammock and a bunch of lawn chairs. These are few of the friends that we were able to get still shots of. I love Boedy (middle boy)! I think he ate 2 slices. Haupia is ...

See what happened was. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Monday, October 29, 2012. Rylan and I have been talking about how Po'okela was in need of a hair cut. He kept getting called a girl with his shaggy hair. I liked calling him my surfer boy! Plus, I am thinking of all the $ $ we will save in the years to come since Rylan cuts his hair every 6-8 weeks and if we paid that ($15 each time maybe? Here is his smile with his shaggy hair and he is pretty excited to see what is going to happen. Here the big boy is!

See what happened was. Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Happenings while not blogging. In the last month(s) we have been super busy. The Vintage photos could have easily taken up a whole week when put together. Here's what we have been up to in no particular order. Alohi loves crafts and she made this necklace with her daddy. Thanks to Christi Hays for providing the craft that she took from MOPS vintage photo daycare time. Accidents always happen when you are having fun. At a fun family get together, Po'okela...

See what happened was. Friday, August 31, 2012. Sister to the rescue. Last week after Po'okela's 1 year check up appointment, we stopped at chickfila for a late breakfast and play time. It was something Alohi and I did a lot of while I was preggo with Po'o during that HOT HOT summer. If you have never been to chickfila in the mornings I highly recommend it! There are no crowds, its quiet and your kids will have the play place to themselves! He followed his sister into the tube. Wednesday, August 22, 2012.

See what happened was. Tuesday, May 29, 2012. The first thing we did was take care of the paper work. Alohi was weighed (27 pounds) and measured (don't remember). She got into a swim suit and then got her fat (which she has NONE) on her arms, back, thigh, and belly measured. Then she got weighed again and here she is with her protective cap on. You can see the look of uncertainty on her face. Once it was done she was so happy and insistent to climb down on her own! She had to lay really still! She made m...

See what happened was...: September 2012
http://ry-lei-kocher.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
See what happened was. Sunday, September 30, 2012. Alohi and Po'okela are continuing to learn how to play, share, and show each other how much they love each other. We have come a long way since the first time Alohi met him. This picture is from day two in the hospital. Her reaction was not prompted and captured at just the right moment. Man we have come a long way so far. Now when he screams, she tries to comfort him and she looks so grown up. Thank you to Jeff and Syndi Moore at Capture 1000 Words.
