Peer Pressure Postings: World Events
http://brianandjane.blogspot.com/2011/03/world-events.html
Friday, March 11, 2011. Just waiting for that wave to come. It never did. As long as I lived there, despite numerous warnings, there was never a tsunami and hardly a surge from far away earthquakes. So this morning has really shaken me unexpectedly. I live more than 1000 miles away from there now. And yet, I'm . what's the word? I don't know how to explain it. I pray that all my friends still in that area are safe! Jill Fairchild posted this on her FB. Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch?

Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Is it Really February? Well, I got a bit derailed on my letters-from-the-past project. Brian got home on leave and I didn't do much else but be with him! We had a fabulous time skiing with the whole family for a few days. I really need to put up photos but it's bed time and I'm tired. I'll try to do it tomorrow. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Peer Pressure Postings: June 2010
http://brianandjane.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 20, 2010. And the Name is. Brian finally settled on a name for the hawk. Since he doesn't know if it's a girl or boy, he decided Kevin was good. If you have no clue why, go watch the movie "Up". LOL. Brian has been in Afghanistan for 3 weeks now. His contract is for 42 days. We're going on when he arrived not when he left home so he officially has 3 weeks left of the contract. Whether he is asked to extend a bit or not has not been determined. Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Just look at their heig...

Wednesday, January 12, 2011. January 10, 1992. It was so wonderful to be able to hear your voice again today. How I miss being able to be in your arms and look in your eyes. I miss your touch and your arms around me when things aren't going right. I long to be with you now. But I know the next time we are together it will be forever. You are always in my thoughts. I think of you all day long and dream about you at night. I love you so very much! My Dearest Love,. But would suffer anything for you! Well t...

http://brianandjane.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 29, 2009. It has been awhile since I've posted. It has been a busy, crazy summer! After our vacation to N. Idaho, Iwent to Dallas, TX, for Mary Kay Seminar and had a fabulous time! As soon as I got home from that, I was hosting Education Week here at the University. On the last day of that, the dancers came for the Idaho International Dance and Music Festival. We hosted 4 ladies from Germany! It was a great time! Before school started, we went up to Brian's project in Montana. WOW! My Ma...

Peer Pressure Postings: May 2010
http://brianandjane.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 29, 2010. Brian made it safely to Afghanistan after about 27 hours of travel! He was able to stay the night in a hotel in Dubai after the 15 hour flight from the States. He's set up in camp with a cozy little room all to himself and all the flies. He says the desert is just like he remembers it from '91. The top photo is just the "structure". The 2nd photo is the finished thing. We'll see how it does in Idaho wind! Thursday, May 20, 2010. New Settings, New Adventures.

Peer Pressure Postings: Happy 43rd Birthday Brian!!!
http://brianandjane.blogspot.com/2011/01/happy-43rd-birthday-brian.html
Sunday, January 9, 2011. Happy 43rd Birthday Brian! Today has been pretty much perfect! I picked Brian up at the airport and we came home to our very excited children. Brian showered, got dressed and we all went off to Church! After Church, we enjoyed a prime rib and crab leg dinner for his birthday. It was excellent! He invited our neighbors over so we had a great evening with company. Our children all played together without any mishaps. That's amazing in itself! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Peer Pressure Postings: Brian's Birthday Surprise!!
http://brianandjane.blogspot.com/2011/01/brians-birthday-surprise.html
Wednesday, January 12, 2011. I realized this morning that I hadn't mentioned what I did for Brian's birthday present. So here is the story. He hasn't talked to any of them for 19 years! I got started by searching on FaceBook. Then, if that didn't yield results, I went to Google. I was surprised at how easy some of the people were to find! I spent several days searching and writing emails and even calling a couple of people. I asked everyone to email Brian to wish him a happy birthday. I chatted with him ...

Peer Pressure Postings: October 2010
http://brianandjane.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 30, 2010. We're a little behind schedule this year. We usually carve pumpkins a week or more before Halloween. It got done today. The kids don't mind and the pumpkins will stay on the front steps until they start to sag. I just have to mention how much I really, really, REALLY dislike pumpkin gut slime! But, my hands are washable and I got through it. My sister-in-law was here and she helped with Jared's pumpkin. Ronan even got to use his own knife! No complaints so far. I got to go to ...

Peer Pressure Postings: December 2009
http://brianandjane.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 21, 2009. The Busiest Week of the Year. It's here. This is the busiest week of the year for us. We have 2 birthdays, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. This year's birthdays are pretty special. Ronan turns 8 tomorrow and Jonah turns 12 on Wednesday. The baptism and ordination will take place on January 2 because we have Stake Baptism Day instead of individual days. It's going to be a great week! Tuesday, December 15, 2009. I wish she would get her head on straight.
