Friday, April 08, 2005. I haven't been stuck in the mud in years. I was heading home, taking the "back way" from Metter. The roads were slushy, but I was doing OK until I encountered the Mississippi. It was a two-foot wide, one and a half foot deep gully that was getting wider by the minute. I started backing up, but here were two other cars behind me. I had to get home - I had an assignment. Wednesday, March 23, 2005. Had my nails "did". It's just a bit hard to type today. I went with my Mom Monday and had my nails done for the first time ever. It was so funny, because we had just gone to a friend's barn and loaded up 10 bales of hay, then went straight to the nail salon. Country meets sopistication. I am amazed the things have not popped off yet. Well, since they are acrylic, I guess they won't exactly "pop off" like those damned Lee Press On nails. They are not as short as they use to be!
