Once the outline has been traced, write "mean words" all over the outline. After the figure is completely filled with a variety of negative comments, crumple the drawing, and then un-crumple it. On strips of paper write as many positive comments as possible. Statements like, “You did such a nice job", or "I like playing with you" or "You're really good at math".
